Residential Treatment Program

At Fulshear Ranch Academy, a transitional program for girls (age 18 and over), young women are invited on a journey of self-discovery and education. Using a holistic model, participants experience both field-based experiential education and classroom academics, therapeutic groups and activities, life skills, and career training, all in an environment that promotes overall health and wellness.

Our residential treatment program is divided into six areas of concentration. Each one of these areas has been created to help young women become healthy, strong, and sure of their own power. The six areas are Life Skills, Education, Nature-Based Skills and Therapy, Equine Skills, Holistic Health, and Career Training.

The primary focus of all classes, activities, and groups is to assist young women in the process of discovering their individual talents and passions, and teaching them the life skills needed to take the next step in pursuing their dreams.

We believe that through our program's community-based holistic approach to living and learning, we can assist in alleviating issues of negative body image, eating disorders, addictions, sexual boundaries, depression, and school difficulties, with our help for teen girls.

The treatment program is divided into three, four-month phases that offer an individually-paced progressive movement through important transitional phases of personal growth.
